RoboField
For this jam, I decided to make a game based on Ravenfield, a 3D shooter where you place a number of soldiers to simulate a battle. In that game, you are just one of the many soldiers on the field. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to finish the game 100% due to personal issues. Anyway, you can try it out and leave me your feedback if you’d like.
The controls are WASD to move and left click to shoot.
On a controller, you can use the left stick to move and the A or RT buttons (on XInput), or X or R2 on a PS4 controller.

You’re right—adding enemy variety would greatly improve the gameplay experience. However, given my current situation, I’m not able to add more content because I can’t concentrate. In fact, if you look closely, you’ll notice that both the soldier and the spider are exactly the same, just with different sprites.
For the game, I had planned to let players choose the number of enemies and soldiers, decide whether they wanted to be on the enemy or allied side, and have multiple unit types within each faction with different stats. When you die with one character, you would simply switch to another one in the battle. The team that reaches the target score first wins.
would be cooler if spiders sliced instead of shooting, you may replace shooting spiders with some robots or smth else
